Suzuki Revealed Special Edition GSX-R1000 World Superbike

The Special Edition of Suzuki GSX-R1000 has been flashed by the company. This bike has been crafted with the outfit of world superbike seen over the race tracks. These bikes will be limited upto the first 25 customers and they are named as Voltcom Crescent Edition.

A good number of cosmetic appearance enhancements have been carried over these bikes to look exactly like the World Superbike edition of the same. The hierarchy of Suzuki with special or limited edition motorbikes also includes some other bikes including GSX-R600 and GSX-R750, which were also treated in the same way.

Alex Lowes and Eugene Laverty are the riders of these bikes in the 2014 WSBK. The WSB kits have also been transplanted in these bikes Yoshimura R77 exhaust, GB Racing engine covers and the single seat cowl signed by these riders. The GSX-R1000 with Voltcom Crescent edition can be grabbed for $19,980, but with the currently available discount, one can get it at $18,310.

The original Suzuki GSX-R1000 comes zoomed up with a 999cc, 4 stroke 4-cylinder DOHC liquid cooled engine, which is tuned to make out 160 BHP of power with 110 Nm of torque. It is a carburetor driven unit and pumps the performance over a six speed gearbox. The front wheel is structured with dual Brembo disc brakes, while rear has single disk brake. It would be a head turner seeing these bikes in Voltcom Crescent Edition in city traffic.
