Tata Motors Launches Tiago NRG AMT Variant; Priced at INR 6.15 Lakh

Tata Motors has silently launched a new petrol-AMT variant for its Tiago NRG cross-hatchback. It is priced at INR 6.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which makes it costlier by INR 45,000 over the standard model with manual transmission. Earlier than this, the NRG was available in the market with engine options-an 85hp, 1.2-litre petrol or a 70hp, 1.05-litre diesel since its introduction in September 2018. Wherein a manual gearbox unit was responsible for performing transmission duties.

Apparently, if compared the NRG with the standard Tiago model, it’s a rugged-looking hatch which gets the additional fitment of body cladding, roof rails, faux skid plates along with higher ground clearance at 180mm. In addition to this, the Tiago furnished with NRG Kit comes with reflectors headlamps, contrast stitch fabric upholstery, 14-inch steel rim with wheel covers, power assisted and tilt adjustable steering, manual air-con, remote locking, height adjustable driver seat, electrically adjustable wing mirrors and four power windows.

Other than this, the addition of top-end features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system instead of an earlier 5.0-inch unit, auto-fold wing mirrors, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto assistance will surely allure the prospective customers for this Tiago NRG AMT trim.

At the pricing of INR 5.70-6.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Tata Tiago NRG will go in competition with the likes of the Mahindra KUV100 NXT and the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X in our country.
