The company is to sell out the Tigor EV model in some cities only. However, the company has gained a good amount of engagement for the Tigor EV, the company has to still put some efforts in regard to the electric charging stations first across cities. The company says that the product is about to get the electric powertrain and the line-up includes the Tigor, Tiago, Bolt, and Zest.

Mayank Pareek, President in Passenger Vehicle Business at Tata Motors, said, "We have today the Zest, Bolt, Tiago, Tigor and all are possible to have an electric powertrain. But suppose we sell an electric car to somebody in Mumbai, where will he/she charge the vehicle? In the end, we will be blamed." He included further, "We are working on customer satisfaction first. It is same as selling a car to someone where there is no fuel pump and that is non-negotiable. Customer satisfaction should be prior to all."
