Tata Nexon Exterior Revealed, expected launch in October 2017

The all-new Tata Nexon made its first appearance at the Geneva Auto show and now, the production-ready model pictures have been released by the carwale team. The exterior is clear and similar to the Geneva edition. Finally, it seems clear that the domestic carmaker is ready to bring this car in the Indian market by October this year.

If we talk about the exterior styling of the Nexon, then you will be surprised to know that it is a compact crossover and it rivals against the market-dominating cars like Honda Jazz and the Maruti Baleno. The Competitive pricing might also surprise the buyers. The Tata Nexon is a five-seater car that comes with a smiley front fascia along a large black honeycomb-mesh front grille. The door panels with the thick rub-strips add an extra mark to the overall styling of the compact crossover followed by the jacked up rear design.

Production ready Tata Nexon

The production-ready Nexon shown in the picture appears to be the top-spec XZ variant that comes with the projector headlamps integrated with LED DRLs, fog lamps and five spoke alloy wheels painted in black-silver color. The side mirrors come with the LED turn indicators along with an antenna mounted in the rear. The crossover is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron engine and the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine. The base trims will be offered with a manual transmission.

As the car is almost production ready, we expect Tata motors to launch it as early as possible but the carmaker is likely to push the launch in the second quarter. As of now, the carmaker is ready to launch the Tigor at the March end. Stay tuned for more updates on the Tata Nexon.
