Teaser Video of Yamaha R1 has Confirmed its Arrival

The Japanese motorcycle maker has dropped various bombshells in the national as well as international two-wheeler industry. Yeah!! You guess it right; I'm talking about Yamaha Motors. The firm is heating-up the market with lots of surprises and the list still goes on. Recently, the manufacturer has come-up with the all new Yamaha YZF R3, featuring a parallel-twin engine with a displacement of 321cc. This naked street motorcycle is a combination of its bigger siblings and specifically designed for the European and US countries.

Moving onwards to the blockbuster topic of the evening, 2015 Yamaha YZF R1, this has made the youth much more excited for the upcoming motorcycle event, EICMA, 2014. The launching event of the updated liter-class sports motorcycle will get scheduled on 3rd November, during the EICMA in Milan, Italy. The Yamaha officials has said that everything has changed, except its name, a new design has been given to it for total freedom and ultimate controlling power.

The Yamaha YZF R1 has been designed around an updated four-cylinder cross plane crank engine, which is rumored to belt out a total power of 230BHP. By having a closer look at the video, it clearly shows that the motorcycle is equipped with Traction control, stability control, launch control and features a fully digital colored instrument cluster. Although, the teasing video doesn’t reveal much curves and cues of the sports motorcycle, but still we've come across something. Something, which is called the highest speed, yeah!! It has touched the top speed of 262 KMPH. The liter-class motorcycle is being tested by Valentino Rossi, six times MotoGP champion and his word about this motorcycle "She wants to go Faster". 

2015 Yamaha YZF R1 Instrument Cluster

Unlike the Kawasaki Ninja H2, the Yamaha is also planning to introduce two versions of the 2015 YZF R1; a track-oriented version and street-version (non-racing environments). The upcoming YZF R1 is making more power than the Kawasaki's Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-14R. The track-oriented version will be receiving an electronic suspension and the non-racing version might conceive the dual-clutch transmission.
