Thanks to the Car and Bike that has revealed some spyshots of the forthcoming 2016 Audi A4. The test mule of the car has been spied on the Mumbai roads without any camouflage. There aren't any official details about the price and launch, but we can expect the car some time later this year for around INR 32 Lakhs to INR 40 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). It seems like, the Audi has updated its design and styling while mechanically it will remain same.
Reportedly, the A4 will be assembled at the company's own local facility in Aurangabad. Besides, it is stated to be powered with similar engine option as the earlier one. In detail, a 2.0-litre TDI and the other 1.8-litre TFSI motor could perform the duty of powerhouse. In which, the former generates 190 Bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque while the latter is good for 168 Bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque. There are no changes to the transmission option too, the engine will uphold the same 8-speed automatic unit as a standard attachment.
In a bid to make more impressive looks and design, the carmaker can also attach some of the features like new Matrix headlamps, restyled front grille, redesigned bumper at both ends, LED tail lamps, and LED daytime running lights at the exterior.
As report say, most of the tweaked have been done to the cabin. Now, you will feel the more comfort and spacious cabin along with much premium quality upholstery. Besides, you may also have to use 12.3-inch LCD screen, Bang & Olufsen sound system with 19 speakers, infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
In dimension, the car is 25 mm longer, 16 mm wider, 12 mm higher against to its predecessor. Now, it measures 4,726 mm, 1,842 mm, 1,427 mm receptively as well as it has a long wheelbase of 2,820 mm. All the other details would be unveiled soon before the official arrival.
