Nowadays, most of the car manufacturers are launching their vehicles with an automatic transmission system as per the customer’s requirements. Toyota is one such brand, who produces different segments of the runabouts in the country, such as Etios, Etios Liva, Camry, Corolla Altis, Land Cruiser and Fortunar. The Corolla Altis, Camry and Fortuner are already available in India along with the automatic gearbox and now, there is a turn for Etios as well as the Etios Liva to get automatic boxes in the next year including the anticipation of 4 speed or 5 speed transmission.
Recently, the Japanese automaker has set up the updated version of Toyota Etios Liva and Etios in India in the body structure of hatchback & sedan, respectively. Both of the versions are accessible in diesel as well as petrol fuel engine options, in which the former one is powered by a 1.4 liter diesel and 1.2 liter petrol mill, while the second one receives 1.5 liter petrol and 1.4 liter diesel engine. The latest modification to these runabouts are the dual front airbags, which has been included to enhance the safety for its passengers. The hatchback is approximately priced between the range of INR 4.76-6.97 Lacs, but the price of sedan model is varied from INR 5.74-8.17 Lacs.
Yet, the specifications of automatic versions of Etios Liva and Etios are still to be disclosed. However, the vehicles will have the extra price of INR 50,000 starting from INR 25,000 with regards to the current variants.
