The festive season of India has received some decent car launches in the market and the latest company to join the fleet would be the Toyota. The famous Etios model, in both sedan and hatchback shape have been spotted in the country for their very much possible next week launch. Till now, the company hasn't done very great with these cars, but the crossover version, that is Etios Cross has been quite successful so far. Now, the company is planning to bring up the facelifts of Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback version on the 15th October, 2014.
The features of the facelift versions are minimally changed like new smiley grille, wing mirror designs, integrated blinkers, better seat fabrics , door trims and a few more. The new equipments in the car will be the electrically adjusted OVRMs, reverse parking sensors and the driver side airbag as standard. Engine specifications of the both cars would be same, seeing this as the mild facelift and the sedan will gets its power by 1.5 Litre petrol engine producing 90 PS power and 132 Nm torque, while the diesel will be powered by 1.4 Litre mill producing 68 PS power and 170 Nm torque.
On the other hand, the hatchback car will get the same 1.2 Litre petrol engine producing 80 PS power and 104 Nm torque and 1.4 Litre diesel engine working as same as in the sedan model. The price of these facelift models would be around INR 5.5 – 8.20 Lac and INR 4.5 Lac – 7 Lac respectively for sedan and hatchback models.
