Toyota India is planning to introduce its flagship MPV, Innova Crysta in Touring Sport avatar in the following months. To enhance the sporty appeal of the buyers, the carmaker will bring the segment leader with bespoke styling cues.
Let me remind you something here, the Toyota Innova Crysta Venture. The special edition based on the top-end trim of the standard Crysta, was launched in Indonesia in January this year. And now the same Venture edition is making waves of being hit the Indian roads in a few upcoming months, probably by the end of next month.
Recent spy images reveal the entirely undisguised Indian-spec new Toyota Innova Crysta, which will go on sale under ‘Touring Sport’ moniker. Describing the spy shots, the Innova Crysta Touring Sport features a wine red paint shade along with the black body cladding on the front bumper and wheel arches. Also the prominent use of chrome throughout the body, majorly on the wing mirrors and side body cladding.

The new Toyota Innova Crysta will ride on a new 16-inch blacked out alloy wheels. After receiving a bunch of complaints regarding tyre bursting from consumers, the carmaker discontinued the 17-inch wheels from the Innova line-up.
Inside the cabin, the list of equipment with the cabin aura remain identical to that of the top-end ZX variant, though the Touring Sport will be exclusively available in 6-seater option.
On the mechanical front, the new Innova Crysta Touring Sport will feature the same powerhouse that is fitted beneath the hood of regular Crysta line-up.

Flashback, the second-gen Innova model was launched in May 2016 under the moniker of ‘Crysta’, and since then, it continues to be the most selling car in the segment (as the Innova itself was), despite the premium price tag over the outgoing model.
