Toyota has considered a large number of fans for its Land Cruiser in India that provoked its thought to perform a noteworthy action on this ongoing SUV in order to bring new relish via retouching the same for the enthusiasts getting fed up with old features. Spilling the beans on the basis of the automobile market reports, this upcoming SUV has been spied testing ahead of the launch with captivating cosmetic updates. On the outside, it's presumed to be adorned by a large chrome grille, new LED daytime running lights, chrome surround fog light enclosure and redesigned chrome inserted bumper bumper. The Toyota Land Cruiser facelift would have rectangular headlights and taillights that are expected to include LED elements.
Apart from the exteriors, its interiors as well as mechanical features have been amazingly tweaked. Inside the cabin, this upcoming vehicle will be equipped with a plethora of equipments, such as a latest four spoke steering wheel, superb dashboard trims, large touchscreen display and a new centre console comprising integrated control buttons. The V8 variant from GXR trim is powered by a 5.7 litre dual VVT-I V8 petrol engine to churn out the outputs of 326 bhp and 540 Nm.
This powertrain will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that will transfer the produced power to the wheels of the SUV. Toyota will offer two more engines, a 4.6 litre V8 petrol and a 4.5 litre V8 diesel units. The oil burner version will produce an impressive power of 261.49 bhp at 3,400 rpm and the tremendous torque of 650 Nm between 1,600 rpm to 2,600 rpm.
If the reports are to be believed, then the new Land Cruiser's base variant will be machined with a 2.8 litre four cylinder diesel mill mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Well, no option has been left for the Indian customers rather keeping patience till the launch of this model, which could be possible sometime next year.
