Toyota Unveiled More Images of its New Hilux Revo

After showcasing in Thailand on May 21, Toyota has released more images of its eighth generation Hilux Revo to render the awesome design philosophy of this model. At first, we will talk about its interior that will give inspirations to the next generation Fortuner, which is presumed to be debuted on July 28. The Hilux Revo's interior has been based on brown and black colours theme with more impressive equipments as compared to its outgoing model.

Few features of this newly revealed vehicle are expected to be seen in the upcoming Fortuner, such as “floating” 7 inch touchscreen display, including touch sensitive buttons, instrument cluster with new MID and a superb multifunctional steering wheel. Moreover, the Toyota Hilux Revo gets tremendous comfy equipments, comprising push button start, automatic climate control, 60:40 split rear seat, rear HVAC vents. ISOFIX point, central armrest and 7 airbags.

Beneath the skin, it includes “GD” range of oil burner powertrains, which comes with a 2.4 litre four cylinder unit to produce two output states, 150 hp/343 Nm and 150 hp/400 Nm, whereas the most powerful 2.8 litre unit is capable in churning out the outputs of 177 hp/420 Nm and 177 hp/450 Nm. Coming to the transmissions, which will be available in two options, a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. On the same hand, engines for the new Innova and Fortuner will also be picked up from this same range.

New Toyota Hilux Exterior

Currently, Toyota offers a 2.7 litre VVT-i petrol on its existing model that will also be continued in the forthcoming variant. This mill produces power of 122 hp and torque of 245 Nm. We regret to inform you that the latest Hilux would not make its presence in India, but its most of the features will be seen on the new Fortuner that would hit the Indian showrooms shortly.
