Triumph launches Special Edition Street Triple to Celebrate 10 Years Milestone

Triumph has unleashed the limited edition Street Triple in association with custom paint shop 8 BALL to celebrate the special milestone of 10 years since motorcycle’s launch. These three special edition models are dubbed as the Street Triple R Dark, Street Triple Grey, and Street Triple Gold.

Cosmetically, these customized Triple Street models share styling character and components bits from the factory’s Street Triple R regular model. Expect, the rolled out Dark is featured with some extra attributes like an Alcantara seat, a factory belly pan, fly screen and cowl. It also has the Union Jack printed on either side of the fuel tank and the limited production count of 50 on the fuel tank, for all three colour setups.

For the rest, the Street Triple Gold and Grey editions, the automaker has housed hand painted alloys which are wisely amalgamated with the applied paint scheme and Triumph’s 10-year anniversary logo. These duos are also received the same half Alcantara seats with colour matched stitching from the Dark one.

Limited to manufacture only 50 units for all the three colour setups, the motorcycles will be available to retail only at the Triumph’s UK dealerships. From the three editions, the Dark will go on sale with the tagged price sticker of £8,599 (Rs 7.42 lakh) from October. The Street Triple Gery and Street Triple Gold will also be offered later in the same month at £7,999 (Rs 6.90 lakh).

Triumph UK sales manager, Bruno Tagliaferri, said: “Special edition models are always well-received by our dealers and customers. The Dark concept adopted by the factory on three previous editions has generated a cult following. Meanwhile, the two 10 year anniversary models are a huge tribute to the success of this model in the UK. For each of the models, we have chosen unique colours to help the bike stand out and make them truly individual. Additionally, all of the bikes will come with a signed Triumph factory Certificate of Authenticity.”
