Triumph Motorcycle has eventually introduced the new Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC model in Indian lineup at the asking price of INR 10.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is a purposeful off-roader with the essence of a modern classic. In the global market, the Scrambler 1200 is available on sale in two variants the Scrambler 1200 XC and the top end variant the Scrambler 1200 XE. However, the Indian market only gets the availability of more affordable Scrambler 1200XC.
Beneath the fuel tank, it is sharing the similar 1200 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine from the Triumph Bonneville T120. However with the different state of tune. The Scrambler 1200 XC's engine is tuned to supply performance figures somewhere between the churned output of the High Torque 1200 cc engine and the Thruxton R High Power 1200 cc engine. In India, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC will go head to head with the rivals like the Ducati Scrambler 1100 and the BMW R Nine T Scrambler at the respective price tag of INR 10.9 lakh and INR 15.9 lakh.
