TVS has introduced a new limited edition ‘Matte Red’ series for two of its variants the Apache RTR 160 and the RTR 180. The range-topping Apache RTR 200 4V is already available in this shade. With the festive season approaching fast, the introduction of this new Matte Red shade for the lower Apache trim can turn out a great move by the company. The new variants have been listed officially on the TVS Apache website under pricing section.

*the TVS RTR 180 with ABS is not being offered in Matte Red shade.
In this new Matte Red scheme, the components of the bikes such as headlamp cowl, fuel tank, engine cowl, fender, and the tail panels got the matte red treatment in contrast with the blacked out frame, engine, exhaust and the wheels. Other than this, a running stripe from the fender through the fuel tank decals offers a racy stance for the bike along with red tape on the wheels.
The mechanicals of the bike is all same. Similar, 160cc single-cylinder engine is doing propelling duties on the Apache RTR 160. The mill is capable of pumping out the maximum power of 15bhp along with 13Nm torque. While, the Apache RTR 180 in association with a five-speed gearbox, is loaded with a 177cc engine that spits out 17.3bhp and 15.5Nm of torque.
