UM Global Imports Two New Products, Launch to Happen Soon

UM Global is expected to be the next upcoming motorcycle manufacturer firm in the country. Taking a reminiscence of the past two years, you will find a huge list of various international two-wheeler manufacturers who have reached the Indian shores. The United Motors gave its introduction in last year, 2014 and also showcased pretty much of its interest in selling their products over the Indian soil. The first and foremost product the firm would like to introduce in India is a 400cc cruiser motorcycle, named as Renegade Commando. The Renegade Commando was already showcased in the country at the Delhi Auto Expo, 2014.

Moreover, the UM Motorcycles has recently imported two new products, which comprises of a scooter and a motorcycle. The solo units are brought down to the country for R&D purpose. The imported products are namely Nitrox 150 motorcycle and Flash 125 scooter. Both of these brought down products could be expected to make their official appearance along with the 400cc cruiser motorcycle in the country anytime soon.

Mechanically, the UM Nitrox 150 is featuring a 149.4cc displaced engine incorporated with a single-cylinder motor. The air-cooled engine is capable to deliver a maximum power 8.5 BHP @ 8000 revs and achieves a peak torque of 10 Nm. The 149.4cc displaced engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. Cosmetically, it is blessed with alloy wheels, long and straight seat, sharp curves and cues; and an attractive and designed graphics over the bodywork.

Getting into the technical details of the Flash 125, it is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke motor configuration carrying an engine displacement of 125cc. The air-cooled engine is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 8.84 BHP @ 7000 revs and a peak torque of 9 Nm @ 6000 revs, while mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The design and styling acquired by the Flash 125 reminds me of the late "Street" scooter which has its history during the 90's tail end.

Eventually, the expected price carried by both the products would be around Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 for the Flash 125 scooter and Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 for the Nitrox 150. The mentioned prices would be the Ex-Showroom prices of the products.
