UM Motorcycles Starts its Ninth Dealership In Lucknow

In order to enlarge its root throughout the country, UM Motorcycles is on its way to expand its dealership network almost in every capital city of India. Now, this one is the ninth addition to the city of Nawabs, Lucknow, followed by the Raipur dealership inauguration three days ago. To be renowned as Awadh UM, the new dealership is located at 1/1 27-B Jopling Road.

This ready to serve UM outlet is covering a wide area of around 3100 square feet for displaying brand’s flagship products from Renegade range. An after-sales service facility is also been provided for the customers’ ease at the same place. Moreover, the company is claiming for test rides of Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S trims at this showroom in near future.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Rajeev Mishra director at UML said, "UM Motorcycles is focused on delivering a 'pure motorcycling' experience to the customers, our motorcycles are classically styled, simple, evocative fun to ride. This is the brand's first showroom in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. The state has emerged as a very strong market in the North region for cruiser bikes and the opening of this showroom is a testimony to this fact. This dealership will house our flagship products like Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S. Launched earlier this year at the 13th version of 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the UM Motorcycles is retailing only Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S, out of the introduced three variants in the Renegade Series. The last trim- the Renegade Classic is likely to hit the market sometimes in April 2017, while to opt this modern classic styled cruiser, one can place its booking in March next year.

Both these current lineup’s motorcycles are sharing the similar powertrain of a 279cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine. The housed mill setup is capable of generating 25bhp at 8,500rpm and delivering 21.8Nm of torque at 7,000rpm with the help of constituted six-speed transmission. Boasting the massive fuel tank capacity of 18 liters, both the motorcycles are coupled with the suspension setup of telescopic front forks and rear placed dual shock absorbers.

At the Lucknow dealership, the Renegade Commando will go on sale at Rs 1.66 lakh, while, the Renegade Sports S will be tagged with the price tag of Rs 1.56 lakh.
