The all-new Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR special edition has been spied recently undergoing testing in India. This reveals that the car is more likely to be launched by the month of June/July this year. This ALLSTAR version is also being used to promote the upcoming 2016 UEFA European Championship football tournament. It is already available for sale in the European market.
Looking to the pictures, we notice that the exterior features the special ‘ALLSTAR’ badge on the fenders and the B-pillar. It stands on the 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Inside, we may see some features like new touch-screen infotainment system, Bluetooth, USB, navigation system, automatic headlights, and automatic climate control system.
The international spec is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, which develops 108 hp of maximum power. It is paired to a six-speed manual transmission. However, the Indian-spec seems to get the TDI badge, which means that it will be powered by the 1.5-litre diesel engine. It will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
