Volkswagen Polo ALLStar Launched in India at INR 7.51 Lakh

The German auto major, Volkswagen has introduced the special edition Polo AllStar in India at a price of INR 7.51 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai) for the petrol variant, available in diesel variant as well at a price of INR 9.07 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai). Thus, the Polo AllStar costs INR 30,000 more than the regular Polo hatchback models. This special edition features several cosmetic tweaks and new equipment, while beneath the hood, the car remains identical to its forerunner model.


The exterior body updates on the new Polo AllStar include redesigned 15-inch alloy wheels, new Blue Silk paint scheme which is currently available on VW’s smallest offering, Ameo, and an embossed ‘ALLSTAR’ badge on the B-pillar.
On the Inside, the AllStar features new seat upholstery with a single contrasting strip running down the center, metallic accent pedals, a foot-well lamps, center armrest and rear AC vents similar to Vento.


Under the hood, the special edition Polo AllStar carries the same mills that power the regular Polo hatchback - a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol unit is good for 74 bhp of the maximum power and 110 Nm of peak torque, while the more powerful diesel mill churns out the maximum power of 89 bhp and the maximum torque of 230 Nm.
