Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR Rendered Officially

One of the leading automakers Volkswagen is now coming with a special edition of its Polo hatchback. Labeled with ALLSTAR, it is basically a unique package of some new cosmetic features over both inside and out. To further hint about its arrival, the automaker has also teased the unit on its official website with some high quality images. Going by all these indications, the upcoming model can believed to be soon enter the market. One must recall that it is the same unit that was earlier showcased at an event altogether with 9 of its other siblings with a view to promote the UEFA European Championship.

Taking the details on the table, the hatchback is available in five different colors including the Blue Silk shade which was first seen with the newly designed Volkswagen Ameo compact sedan. Other colors on the list are - Reflex Silver, Candy White, Flash Red and Toffy Brown. Besides, the front fascia of the car has been dominated by ALLSTAR badge on the B-pillars. Moreover, it has also been equipped with new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, there will be new centre armrest at the front inspired by Vento sedan, scuff plates along with ALLSTAR badge, rear AC vents and aluminum pedals. Further the appeal of the cabin will be enhanced by new seat upholsteries with contrasting stripes. Apart from these, an option of having test drive of this all-new version is also available through all the company’s dealerships across the country. Rest of the details like advance booking, token amount and actual price have not been revealed yet that could come out any soon. However, it is expected to be priced slightly higher over the regular Polo hatch.

Under the hood, the Polo ALLSTAR would be attached with the same powerhouse that is currently underpinning the standard Polo hatchback. Well, for that reason, the duties of the petrol engine will be taken care of by 1.2-litre MPi unit that is capable enough to run the car with a power of 75 PS and a torque of 110 Nm. The diesel motor, on the other side, will be powered by a 1.5-litre TDi mill that can propel the unit with 90 PS of maximum power and 230 Nm of peak torque. Both the motors will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission box.
