Volkswagen Scirocco GTS Unclosed Ahead of Shanghai Show

Volkswagen has uncurtained its upcoming Scirocco GTS before showcasing it at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show next week. It is almost more than one year, when the German manufacturer acquainted this runabout as the replacement of the outgoing Scirocco GTS and since then, VW has directly unveiled it in April 2015. Apart from the powertrain, the vehicle gets more updated and magnificent aesthetic features as compared to its current variant with red brake calipers and new 18 inch Norwich alloy wheels. Notably, the car receives an R-Line body package including R-styled bumpers, roof spoiler, side skirt extensions and a rear diffuser.

Inside, the VW Scirocco GTS would come with a latest steering wheel alongside a GTS logo, golf ball gear knob, new composition colour infotainment system, chrome trim and stainless steel pedals. This runabout also comprises some optional features along Black Vienna leather upholstery, panoramic tilt sunroof and bi xenon headlights. However, powertrain will be same as the Golf GTI and would continue with a 2.0 litre engine, which is good for 217 bhp.

Interestingly, the mill will be mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed DSG that would help in transferring the produced power to its front wheels. Volkswagen will bring this luxury vehicle in the automobile market by the end of May, 2015, while prices are likely to be disclosed during its debut in Shanghai.
