Volvo XC90 Reached to Indian Showrooms at INR 64.9 Lac

Today, the Swedish multinational luxury automobile maker, Volvo has brought its second generation XC90 SUV to the Indian shores in two variants, such as D5 Momentum and D5 Inscription. Both of these versions have been priced at INR 64.9 Lac and 77.9 Lac, respectively. This newly updated vehicle has been emerging as one of the safety oriented SUV in its range with airbags, ABS alongside EBD, traction control, whiplash protection, so that the occupants can be kept safe while traveling. The comfort and convenience have also been increased with a latest cloud based navigation system, wood trims, Nappa leather upholstery, powered foldable third row backrests, and Orrefors shared crystal gear lever.

Moreover, it gets an i-pad inspired touchscreen control panel on centre console, Apple Car Play including voice command, heated as well as ventilated front seats, electrically adjustable seats comprising memory function, hill descent control, parking assist, air suspension system and 19 speakers B & W music system. Designed on the brand's new SPA (Scalable Platform Architecture) platform, the Volvo XC90 is 4,950 mm in length, 1,923 mm in width and 1,776 mm in height.

The SUV inherits various styling properties from the manufacturer's coupe concept with LED daytime running lights, an iron marked grille, rain sensing wipers, flared wheel arches, including 21 inch alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof. Beneath the skin, it's powered by a 2.0 litre twin turbo D5 diesel engine, which is good for 225 hp at 4,250 rpm and 470 Nm between 1750 to 2500 rpm.

This mill is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission system that is capable of sending the generated power to its all four wheels through an AWD configuration. The luxury vehicle is enough to impress anyone via bestowing a splendid speed of 230 km/h.
