A limn of an off-road bike has been roaming all over the places carrying along a rumor that it would be the KTM's next upcoming off-road motorcycle. The company is planning to showcase their new product at the upcoming EICMA, which will be going to held in Milan in the month of November, 2014.
Well, only the manufacturer knows what they will be going to unveil at the motorcycle show. But, as of now, we will be showing you the depicted picture of the KTM's next upcoming off-road motorcycle. The bike will be named as 390 Adventure.
In terms of design, the KTM 390 Adventure will be carrying the curves and cues of its elder sibling 1290 Adventure. The off-road style of the motorcycle can be portrayed by its dynamic style. The motorcycle will get built upon a whole new chassis, which is specifically designed for off-roading. It will be receiving new suspensions to provide better consent with rough roads and one can go for long distance travel as well. The motorcycle will be expected to sport wire spoke wheels, rather than the alloy wheels. More likely, it is expected to be featuring a luggage-carrier which is suitable for touring purpose and off-course a massive fuel tank of around 16-18 litres.
Technically, the 390 Adventure will get its power the same 373cc engine from its cousin sibling 390 Duke. However, 390 Duke is a street-fighter naked motorcycle which doesn't mean for off-road purpose. But, the same engine powering KTM 390 Adventure with a total power of 43PS will definitely be able to give its rider an off-road riding quality. The motorcycle would be coming with a possible weight of 124KG. Hence, making this motorcycle an off-road bike, the swing-arm would be borrowed from the 990 Adventure and it will be equipped with the ABS by default. It is believed that the KTM will be launching this motorcycle by the upcoming year 2015 and it will get manufactured at the Bajaj's Chakan Plant, Pune.
