Yamaha Fazer FI V 2.0 introduced in India, prices out

After the launch of Yamaha FZ FI and FZ-S FI on 30th June, 2014, everyone was expecting that the company will also update the semi-faired motorcycle with FI. The launch event of the FZ-FI brothers was being held at Delhi. Since the FZ-FI brothers have made their appearance in the market, the company had started testing the Yamaha Fazer FI version 2.0. While the testing was going on, the company had given us a hint that it will be going to introduce the under testing motorcycle soon.

Now, the Japanese automobile giant has silently launched the Yamaha Fazer FI Version 2.0 today. The newly launched motorcycle is priced at Rs 83,850 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). Well, we have been waiting for the semi-faired motorcycle to come along with Fuel-Injected engine and it has come along with some new modifications as well.

Mr. Roy Kurian, VP of Sales and Marketing of Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. states, "We have introduced our new offering Fazer FI Version 2.0 particularly keeping the spirit of touring in mind, combining both fun & economy for the customers to ride free in the open blue sky. Our FZ FI and FZ-S FI version 2.0 introduced in June 2014, have been getting tremendous response and we are confident even the Fazer FI with our latest technology, 'Blue Core', will be heartily welcome."

Technically, the Yamaha Fazer FI Version 2.0 gets its power from the same air-cooled, single-cylinder, Blue-Core Fuel-Injected engine with an engine displacement of 149cc. The power and torque figures carried by the power plant is also the very same generated by the FZ-FI's motor. The engine is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox and belts out 12.9BHP and a peak torque of 12.8Nm. And, the FI system will help further to improve the fuel-efficiency and performance of the motorcycle.

The new modifications received by the Yamaha Fazer FI Version 2.0 are its newly redesigned front fairing and head lamps making this motorcycle more aggressive. The edges given by the manufacturer to the front fairing along with air-scoops make this motorcycle more appealing. The latest bike has already made its appearance in one of the showroom located in Gurgaon.
