Yamaha has Recorded Increases In Sales For June 2015

People are showing their interest in the commuter motorcycles and scooters, whereas, the two-wheeler makers have made their best efforts to grab the maximum attention of the crowd. Moreover, the two-wheeler makers are rapidly increasing their product line-up by introducing a wide range of motorcycles in the Indian two-wheeler market carrying affordable price tags as well.

Yamaha Saluto

Recently, the Yamaha Motor India has registered 26 percent hike in domestic sales at 51,432 units in June 2015. Such as, the company has sold 14,708 units in June 2015, which is more than in the comparison of sales figure of the same month last year. The overall sales have recorded at 66,140 units in June 2015, which shows a 24 percent increase in the comparison of June 2014, as the company has sold 53,485 units in June 2014.

Yamaha Fascino

Roy Kurian, Vice President, sales and marketing, said, "The incessant growth numbers are a sign of Yamaha's robust business plan and strategic customer engagement programs. This month we witnessed brisk growth due to our robust product line-up and new launches during the year so far. Our new stylish Scooter 'Fascino' and 125 cc bike Yamaha Saluto, have indeed been key in boosting our sales. Also, the new range of Alpha, Ray and Ray Z scooters for the year 2015 enabled with Yamaha's next generation 'Blue Core' engine concept continues to be a fundamental growth driver for us. We are hopeful on our sales growth and will be able to post some record numbers in the coming months."

In the growth of sales, the Yamaha's newly launch Fascino and Saluto played an important role in the increase of sales. The company has several commuter products in its line-up, which comprises of comprises of Yamaha YZF R15 Version 2.0, Saluto, Fazer, Fazer Version 2.0 (FI), etc.
