Yamaha two-wheeler maker has introduced three new dual-tone color options for Alpha. The new colors are Gleaming Gold, Rocking Red and Beaming Blue. Price for the new Alpha has been increased slightly by Rs 1,003. In new dual-tone paint scheme, the Alpha is now available at Rs 49,939 (Ex. Showroom Delhi), while the price of the scooter in the old colors is Rs. 48, 936. In the new paint scheme, the scooter looks more stunning and attractive. With the new dual-tone paint scheme, the firm wants to grab the attention of the maximum buyers.
Moreover, the firm has not made any changes in its powertrain as the scooter is powering with the single-cylinder, air-cooled and 113cc engine displacement which returns 7 BHP of power and 8.1 Nm of torque. Thus, the firm has updated its entire line-up of motorcycles and scooters with next generation Blue Core Technology. The scooter endows impressive fuel economy of 66 KMPL.
In terms of styling, the scooter is featured with a wide seat and impressive handlebar, that provide a pleasant ride quality to the riders. Moreover, the front and rear section give a decent look to the scooter. And, the footboard provides a plenty of room to the legs of the riders. The stopping duties are taken care by a front and rear drum brake. The scooter has a front telescopic suspension and unit swing rear suspension at the rear. The Alpha was launched in March 2015 with five color options.
