Yamaha launches new 2017 FZ-S FI in New Colours

In the lieu of recent emission norms transition, Yamaha Motor India is updating its product lineup to comply stringent BS-IV emission norms. A number of models have been updated and remainings are in process. Lately, the bike maker has launched the 2017 Yamaha FZ-S FI with the mandatory BS-IV engine, and an Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature.

Additionally, a few changes have also been observed on the visual front such as the revived FZ-S FI gets new paint schemes and decals. The rear tyre hugger has also been substituted with a bigger rear fender. Currently, the available colour list of this premium commuter bike contains grey, red, cyan, white and matte green options.

Beneath the fuel tank, the street fighter is equipped with the same old a 149cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. Mated to a five-speed gearbox, the mill is capable of generating 13bhp of maximum power and 13Nm of peak torque.

For all these updates, the company has charged only a five hundred bucks over the price of last going model. if rivalry is being considered, it will compete with the likes of Suzuki Gixxer and the Honda CB Hornet 160R in the Indian motoring market.
