Yamaha R25 Special and Limited Edition Rolled Out for Indonesia

Here comes another one and we are still on the charts. The Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing has recently rolled out the special edition of the Yamaha R25. Making it a special and limited edition sports motorcycle, the firm will be producing only 100 units of the newly introduced sports motorcycle. At the time of official launching, 2800 units were booked by the motorcycle enthusiasts in the time duration of the 25 hours. And now, here comes the much aggressive version of the very same sports motorcycle, the Yamaha R25 MotoGP Edition.

Carrying a superb combination of the Blue, White and Black, this perfectly matches up with the race-track livery. Just for a recap, the special edition Yamaha R25 is featuring the very same technical specifications, which was being offered over the case version. The Yamaha R25 is packed up with a 4-stroke, 8-Valve, DOHC, twin-cylinder motor carrying an engine displacement of 250cc. The fuel-injected, liquid-cooled motor is tuned to generate maximum power of 36 BHP @ 12000 revs and achieves a peak torque of 22.6 Nm @ 10,000 RPM.

The MotoGP edition of the Yamaha R25 is making its appearance in the Indonesian market carrying a price tag of (IDR) Rp 53 Million, which is on an average equivalent to INR 2.53 Lacs. The firm has installed several enhanced components in order to give this sports motorcycle a race track inspired livery. Talking about the additional make-over, the special edition Yamaha R25 has received 17-inch front and rear tyres, catered by Pirelli. To live the MotoGP experience, the riding quality has been taken care by Telescopic front forks and Monoshock at the rear. Being a Special edition, it is equipped with a newly designed Akrapovic exhaust tail, which individually costs (IDR) Rp 8 Million (approx INR 38,000).

For the first time, the Yamaha R25 Moto GP Special Edition was showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show, 2013 in the very same Blue, White and Black combined MotoGP livery. Well, eventually, we all will be waiting for the quarter-liter sports motorcycle to come towards the Indian shores asap.
