The Yamaha is going to give a big surprise to its fans, Yes, the company is planning to launch its much-awaited motorcycle, YZF-R3, for the domestic market, whereas there are not any clue about the YZF-R 25. A few months ago, both the motorcycles were imported from Indonesia by Yamaha India for the research and development purpose. Further, it is expected that the firm may launch Yamaha YZF-R3 in the third quarter of the fiscal year. The company will position the price tag of YZF-R3 below the Kawasaki ninja 300 and Kawasaki Z250.
The YZF-R3 has adopted a robust engine and modern technology to boost the performance of the motorcycle as the YZF-R3 receives 320cc twin-cylinder and liquid-cooled motor which is pretty much enough for 42 PS of power and 29.6 Nm of torque. All the power output is well managed or controlled by a six-speed transmission. The motorcycle is featured with a Fuel Injection Technology that returns an instant throttle response to a dynamic class performance.
The YZF-R3 is blessed with the modern technology of Yamaha's R-series that includes a direct-drive camshaft, forged aluminum pistons and low-friction cylinders that have been seen in R1 and R6. The motorcycle also features a newly designed steel frame that will provide adequate stability for the high speed. The YZF-R3 measures a 41mm KYB front telescopic suspension and rear KYB single shock which will offer an outstanding control. The stopping power is taken care by a front 298mm disc and rear 220mm disc, whereas Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is standard in this motorcycle. The motorcycle will be available in two color options such as Midnight Black and Race Blue.
