Well, the Zero Motorcycles is the America's electric motorcycle manufacturer, which was founded in the year 2006 and its headquarter is located in California, United States. Currently, the firm is having four motorcycle models in total. The one in the talks is the Zero S, a street fighter electric motorcycle which has received new makeover and features by the manufacturer.
The Zero S Street-Fighter will be coming up as a 2015 line-up models and by having a look at it, one can easily say that the firm has spent a lot of time to give this motorcycle a whole new direction. The new line-up model is powered by an updated Z-Force Power Pack ZF12.5, which is capable to make out 150 miles (240km) and can be extended up to 185 miles with the help of an additional power tank. Besides this, the manufacturer will be giving you various optional batteries carrying different packages. A smaller version, ZF9.4 is also available, which is capable to give 113 miles and the bigger variant of battery, ZF12.5 giving 151 miles all around. The 2015 Zero S is equipped with a Z-Force 75-7Passively air-cooled, high-efficient, radial brushless motor, which is capable to generate a total power of 54 BHP @ 4,300 rotations and a peak torque of 92 Nm. Instead of having electric motor, the motorcycle reaches a top speed of 153 KMPH with a fluctuated acceleration of 4.8 seconds to 5.8 seconds.
The 2015 Zero S electric motorcycle is built around an aircraft-grade aluminum twin-spar frame having a low center of gravity. The frame of the motorcycle is incorporated by inverted cartridge front forks and piston piggyback reservoir shocks at the rear. The suspension is catered by Showa with adjustable spring pre-loaded. The stopping power has been taken care by 9th generation ABS, which is provided by Bosch. The 2015 Zero S electric motorcycle carries a starting price of 13,435 USD complemented with the additional power tank.
