During next@acer press event at 4 World Trade Center in New York, Acer has shown off a bevy of its latest devices decked with cutting-edge technologies in order to bring better options among consumers. Notably, company has expanded its Iconia Tab series by adding two new tablets into array, which has been designated as Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30 and One 8 B1-820.
Talking about Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30, this Android 5.0 Lollipop based device has been claimed as a best proposition for students that is set to join Google Education ecosystem. The new scion of tech giant bears a 10.1-inch IPS display equipped with Zero Air Gap technology for better sunlight visibility and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to withstand daily classroom use. Here, its display renders a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1200p and it houses Acer Precision Plus technology for greater accuracy during the time of writing and sketching.
Tablet is powered by a quad core Intel Atom Z3735F processor and fueled by a promising battery that has been boasted to deliver 7.5 hours of lifespan. On connectivity front, handheld encompasses NFC option, whereby consumers can seamlessly connect with their friends and share files such as study materials, music, videos any kind of data. Apart form NFC, it bestows Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0 functionality. In terms of imaging, gadget is fitted with a 5-megapixel rear camera alongside a 2-megapixel front snapper.

Memory-wise, tab is arrayed with 2GB RAM and comes in three internal storage options: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. At this place, users will be able to expand its inbuilt storage upto 64GB by using a microSD card. Moreover, Tab 10 A3-A30 is loaded with Acer Iconia Suite, which offers intuitive touch tools such as note-taking app EZ Note, screenshot capture app EZ Snap, gesture wake-up app EZ WakeUp and EZ Gadget widget for quick access to frequently-used apps.
Coming to Acer Iconia One 8 B1-820, it is basically a smaller sibling of above-mentioned tablet that features an 8-inch IPS display with a lower pixel resolution of 1280 x 800p. But, it includes identical processor and operating system as its companion. This tab is outfitted with a 5-megapixel primary shooter supports 88 degree wide angle accompanied by a 0.3MP front sensor. Paired with 1GB RAM, it has been designed in two storage models 16GB and 32GB.
Furthermore, One 8 B1-820 confers 8.5 hours of battery life and comprises Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. The corporation has also fabricated some optional accessories for both the models such as Stylus, protective film, bumper case, protective sleeve and wireless keyboard dock.

Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30 has been labeled with an initial price tag of US$299 for North America and it roll out in selected countries in EMEA at €299 in May. Whereas, One 8 B1-820 will go on sale carry in North America in July with an initial price tag of US$149 and prospective buyers of EMEA countries will be able to purchase it at €179 from April.
