After introducing a voice-enabled tablet: Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) and two new feature-rich smartphones of ZenFone family, Asus is on another campaign, where it has started bringing previously-declared devices among consumers. In this sequence, the Taiwanese Multinational Company has launched its 3G-capable tab, called Fonepad 8 (FE380CG) in Indian marketplace, which had seen light of the day during Computex 2014.

Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, device is paired with a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3530 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.33 GHz operating frequency. Glancing at display, gadget features an elegant 8-inch LED Backlight WXGA screen that is decked with IPS technology, 10 finger multi-touch support and Anti-fingerprint coating. Here, its display produces a pixel resolution of 1280x800p.

Coming to imaging front, handheld incorporates a 5-megapixel rear camera with Auto focus functionality as well as its front is coupled with a 2-megapixel selfie snapper. Apart from 3G option, the successor of Fonepad 8 offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS options on connectivity front.

Moreover, firm has priced this tab at just Rs. 13,999 for native space and people can choose among Black, White, Red, Gold color options.
