iBall Brought Windows 8.1-based Slide i701 Tablet at Just Rs. 4,999

The homegrown mobile maker: iBall seems quite busy in expanding its tablet segment during this session. After launching two Android OS based tabs: Slide 3G Q45 and Slide 3G Q45 tabs, corporation has also turned its focus towards Windows platform, where it has introduced a Windows 8.1-running device, called Slide i701 in order to cater the need of young professionals.

During the launch, Director of corporation: Sandeep Parasrampuria stated that they are extremely elated to announce the gadget, which houses decent features and carries an affordable price tag of Rs. 4,999. He also added that Slide i701 is the "world's most economical Windows tablet."

Loaded with Windows 8.1 OS, its users will be able to upgrade it with upcoming avant-garde operating system: Windows 10 for free. In addition, free Microsoft Office subscription along with 1TB OneDrive cloud storage have also been offered by corporation for one year. It features a 7-inch HD IPS display and powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor.

Memory-wise, handheld is arrayed with 1GB RAM alongside 16GB of expandable internal storage, which can be extended up to 32GB by using a microSD card. In terms of imaging, device houses 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash alongside 0.3-megapixel front shooter. Fueled by a 3200mAh battery, it offers WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI and microUSB ports as well as consumers can use 3G via USB dongle.

Moreover, autograph of company's ambassador Kareena Kapoor has been inscribed on the back panel of tablet. As per NDTV, bundled with a free HDMI cable and three interchangeable protective covers of worth Rs. 699 and Rs. 599 respectively, it will go on sale from May 21.
