iPod Series is Coming with Cosmic - Spec Upgrades on July 14

The renowned name in the tech world which is known for its branding is seemingly looking for a big change. Apple seems planning to bring back the life of its defunct iPod series, endowing them with some recency. Well, if we believe on the report of French website iGen.fr, then a refreshed iPod series will make entry on July 14, 2015.

Apparently, leaks are suggesting for a processor upgrade in the iPod Touch models, while iPod shuffle and iPod nano will get the novelty in their colors. Yes, you could be able to select plenty of colors as per your choice for these two models. The only upgrade in specifics you will find in the iPod Touch as aforementioned. As per the reports, this is going to equip upgrade with 64bit A based processor. Currently, it runs on 32bit A5 processor.

Apple iPod refreshed

We can’t say about what processor will be going to give a refreshed touch to the iPod Touch, but we can say it is based on 64bit instead of 32bit as per the report. With plenty of refreshed colors, we had got the chance to see complete line-up at iTunes 12.2 in a promotional image where the curtains pulled off from the secrets to suggest about the date i.e. July 12, 2015 along with colors like Pink, dark blue, and gold. The date was revealed through the image of iPod Touch Calendar. Apple Insider has given this chance.

On the other side as we said in above lines that no other iPod variants will get any upgradation in specs, only cosmic changes will be there. However, try to take them as a pinch of salt and be ready to swipe them from your mind as Apple has not spoken a word on the same. There is no official information regarding the specs and cosmic changes in iPod series. Only the launch date can be taken as authentic because it was spotted in iTunes 12.2 software.

Generally, Apple uses September month for its product launches, but reason behind this early launch would be company’s latest Apple Music which Cupertino guys want to promote. Well, be ready to grab new iPods in new color shades this Thursday from Apple Store.
