Jolla Tablet Comeback on Indiegogo with Better Battery and Storage

The Finnish company seems well prepared to start funding again for its slate. Yes, the company has made its comeback on Indiegogo with a new device which is not more than a revamped version of the first Jolla Tablet.

With few improved hardware and software, the device has reached to show its capability with company’s own Sailfish OS. The company has crafted a bigger 4,450mAh battery which is better than previous 4,300mAh unit. The storage section has also doubled up in size with 64GB built-in storage which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card.

The 7.9-inch new Jolla Tablet though has brought the huge expandable storage support, but that would be a catch as the company has not licensed for Microsoft exFAT (for Sailfish OS). As per such limitation, cards which exceeds from 32GB "will not be readable with Windows computers or devices that advertise microSDXC support (cameras/phones/tablets)" as stated by Jolla.

A fully laminated display, compass, gyroscope are few other default parts of this new Jolla Tablet which will be going to ship for Crowdsourced backers in June while the new model is available to buy now.

Owners of first Jolla Tablet can upgrade theirs with the new one, paying such a little amount of $25 while for grabbing the new device, customers will need to pay $249 for the whole new. Well, the other specifications of this device include 64bit 1.8GHz quad-core Intel processor, 2GB of RAM, 2,048 x 1,536 pixels resolution, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Glonass connectivity support.
