Lenovo Next-Gen ThinkPad 10 with Windows 10 and Atom CPU, Coming Soon

In the list of Windows 10 featuring tablets, the Lenovo has marked its name on the top position. With the new device named ThinkPad, the firm will soon be coming up with a Windows 10 tablet probably in the month of August, 2015. Lenovo will be the first one who announces the arrival of the Windows 10 tablet. Being the first in its class, it would probably be coming carrying a starting price tag of 549USD. The firm will be designing it by keeping the business users in mind. Initially, the firm would bring up several variants of the Second-Gen ThinkPad 10.

Being the Second-Gen ThinkPad 10, it houses Microsoft’s newly introduced Operating system; Windows 10 and would be offering the buyer a choice in between X5 Z8500, X7 Z8700 or quad-core Intel Atom processors. These variants will fall under the Intel’s “Cherry Trail” row of processors. With an option of 2 GB or 4 GB RAM, it will be coming up with an internal storage options of 64 GB or 128 GB and can be expandable with the help of microSD card slot. From connectivity front, it is blessed with a USB 3.0 port; and once the device gets activated it can be linked via remote with another smartphone over Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Second-Gen ThinkPad 10 features a 10.1 inch screen size having a resolution of 1920*1200 pixels. The battery life is up to 10 hours and the heavier point is that it weighs 617 grams. Talking about the special features, the Lenovo Second-Gen ThinkPad 10 comes equipped with fingerprint reader and smart card reader, but as an option.

The Second-Gen ThinkPad 10 gives you various options to make a customized laptop, such as it can be transformed into a lightweight laptop by attaching magnetic keyboard. Alongside the ThinkPad 10, the Lenovo is also planning to introduce a multimedia streaming device, which will be working like the Google’s Chromecast.
