Lenovo to Launch its 'Thinnest 2-in-1' Yoga Book on Tuesday in India

Lenovo has confirmed the India launch of its 2-in-1 Yoga Book on the coming Tuesday. The invitations for the event have already been rolled out to introduce its hybrid laptop in the country. The device has already been launched at IFA 2016 for both Android and Windows platform, and now it finally has made its way to the country.

The Android-based Lenovo Yoga Book was introduced at a price rate of EUR 499 (Rs 37,300 approx), which will arrive running Android 6.0 Marshmallow based OS, whereas, the Windows-based hybrid was introduced at a price tag of EUR 599 (Rs 44,700 approx), which will arrive running Windows 10 pro based OS. The company still has not made any statement regarding which one of these models will be made available in the country.

The Yoga Book is basically a hybrid device, which features Halo Keyboard and a real-pen accessory. Talking more about the Halo Keyboard, it is a full touchscreen backlit keyboard, which instead of having any physical keys, comes with an inbuilt artificial intelligence software, which has an ability to learn user’s typing and navigating habits. On the other side, the real-pen accessory is capable of drawing on the Halo keypad just like a real pen. The company on the international platform has claimed the laptop to be the world’s thinnest and lightest 2-in-1 hybrid laptop, which measures 9.6mm of thickness and weighs 690 grams.

As per further specifications are concerned, the laptop is blessed with a 10.1-inch full-HD display of resolution 1200X1920 pixels and is powered by quad-core intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with 64GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The optical part of the device includes 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera along with a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front sensor. Furthermore, it is backed up by an 8500mAh battery and includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options. The company also made an availability of single Nano-SIM support and Dolby Atmos speakers in the device.
