Millennium M7 and Millennium MT701 Tablets Launched in Budget Category

Now, the budget series of Android-based tablets has become more diverse by receiving two novel devices: Millennium MT701 and Millennium M7. By partnering with Intel, Millennium Telesystems has announced these device for the Indian space to provide cutting-edge technology at affordable prices even without compromising on performance.

Firstly, Millennium MT701 Tablet is housed with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system along with 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor. To render an enhanced gaming and computing experience, it is integrated with PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU. The incorporation of 2-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel front camera is also an alluring part of the device.

It is powered by a 3000mAh Li-Po battery, which looks adequate to deliver a sufficient lifespan for browsing and other works. On the connectivity front, it is unified with Micro-USB, GPS, Wi-Fi 802 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi options, but absence of voice-calling feature and 3G support could make sullen to the consumers.

This handheld bestows 2GB RAM along with 8GB of built-in storage that can be expanded upto 32GB via a microSD card. MT701 bears a 7-inch display that confers a pixel resolution of 1024x600p. Moreover, it is fitted with proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensors.

Diving into the companion of MT701, Millennium M7 that is decked with almost identical specs as its sibling. However, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean that is an obsolete and a little old-fashioned OS among the tech savvy folks. But, this tablet could catch more eyes due to availability of SIM card slot, voice calling capability alongside 3G.

The devices will be available exclusively via E-commerce websites: HomeShop18 & Snapdeal respectively. In a span of few weeks, native market has tasted the savor of various tabs, where recently launched: Karbonn ST72 could be a big brickbat for these gadgets in this portfolio.
