The renowned name in the electronics gadget manufacturing, Panasonic has presented its latest tablet with rugged nature. Yes, the company has made a rugged Android tablet and named it Toughpad FZ-B2. The name exactly matches with its built which is sturdy enough to go in bad places. It is said that the device will be reaching in European market this December at GBP 709 (Approx Rs. 70,600). US people will have to wait for few more months as it will hit the US floor in February at $1,299 (Approx Rs. 80,000).
This tablet has been listed on Company website with specifications. The 7-inch tablet has an IPS display that offers 800x1200 pixels screen resolution. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat platform, this rugged device is made for working in every kind of surroundings. It comes with 64-bit Intel Celeron N2930 processor which powers this tablet to give fast performance result. Toughpad FZ-B2 has Intel HD Graphics for amazing gaming experience and comes paired with 2GB RAM.
With MIL-STD-810G standard, it comes certified with IP65 rating which makes this tablet dust and water resistant. This device has also faced the drop taste and won it for the height of 180cm. This is all to make it’s a rugged tablet. Samsung had also brought a rugged tablet few months earlier in IFA 2014 Berlin, dubbed Galaxy Tab Active.
On the storage front, FZ-B2 has been hiding the 32GB of inbuilt storage along with microSD card slot. To capture your memories in your device, a 5-megapixel camera is crafted on rear side while the front side is blessed with 2-megapixel shooter. The option of 8-megapixel rear camera is also available for this device. A 3220mAh battery is backed up the tablet with 8 hours of battery life. Optional battery to go for 14 hours is also available. Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0 are few connectivity features which are loaded in device.
