Samsung Galaxy Tab A Nook With 4000mAh Battery Launched

U.S firm Barnes and Noble in a joint effort with Samsung America has come up with an all new tablet dubbed as the Galaxy Tab A Nook. It has been priced at USD139.99 (around Rs 9,500) and for now, users can purchase it at Barnes and Noble stores across the country as well as online by paying a visit to the BN.com website.

The firm Barnes and Noble have taken consideration of its existing customers and so have announced a lucrative upgradation offer where the users are allowed to purchase a new Galaxy tablet for USD 99.99 (nearly equal to Rs 6,700) by trading their old Nook device at any Barnes and Noble store. The users additionally can also avail the limited-time upgrade offer where they get a free cover for the gadget at USD39.95 (approx Rs 2,700).

The new Galaxy Tab A Nook sports a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and a pixel thickness of 216ppi. It operates on Android Lollipop v5.1 OS and comes equipped with a Snapdragon 410 processor. Under the hood, the tablet offers 1.5GB of RAM alongside the 8GB of built-in storage capacity that can be easily expanded up to 200GB using an external microSD card. The tablet offers six different Nook profiles at a time which allows the user to customize the tablet in several ways depending upon the requirement.

It packs a 4000mAh battery which as per company can convey up to 11 hours of Internet use. On the camera front, the tablet comes with a 5-megapixel back camera with autofocus ability coupled with a 2-megapixel camera on the front side. The tablet also offers FM radio service and comes equipped with GPS and GLONASS connectivity option.
