Airtel Come up With Some Unique Internet Offers to Compete Reliance Jio Effect

Reliance Jio is spreading like a fire across the country, which has now become a pain in the head for almost every telecom company. As a reply in this ongoing race, Airtel has now come up with some exciting internet offers in which the company has reduced its 3G and 4G mobile Internet charges by 80 per cent (approx Rs 51 per Gigabyte) under a special scheme.

To grab this advantage, customers have to recharge their Airtel SIM cards for Rs 1,498, for which they will get 1GB of 3G or 4G internet valid for 28 days, according to the company. Along with it, customers will be provided the availability of further 3G and 4G Internet packs for just Rs 51 over a 12 months running period. The thing to notice is there will be no limitations on the number of recharges during the period.

Currently, the giant telecom firm is providing 1GB of 3G or 4G mobile Internet pack for Rs 259, which is valid for 28 days. The company is about to introduce a similar scheme in a lower sector of Rs 748. In the following scheme, the customers will be allowed to get 1GB of 4G for Rs 99 over a time period of 6 Months.

Airtel said,”These prepaid packs are live in Delhi and will get launched across circles by Aug 31, 2016.”

Ajai Puri, Director of Bharti Airtel Operations (India and South Asia), said, “With these innovative packs, we are redefining the value proposition on our data packs and allowing our customers get a lot more within the same budgets.”

Airtel had started to offer 60 percent more data in running 3G and 4G schemes in July, followed by Vodafone, and Idea Cellular.

Airtel, earlier this month, has made voice calling free even in roaming. By activating a new plan priced at Rs 1,199 which will include 1GB of 3G or 4G too depending on the network availability.

Telecom Vikings like Airtel and Idea has now started playing more wisely in the sector of mobile data plans pricings considering the upcoming commercial launch by Reliance Jio. According to the company, it has more than 1.5 million test users on its network.

Reliance Jio has also stated during the recent-conclude quarter that it has extended its trial offers to all of the Lyf devices under the Jio preview offer.
