LeEco's June 29 Event to Showcase Smartphone With Qualcomm Chipset

Chinese organization LeEco (now better known as LeTV) has officially confirmed an event of its own on June 29 where it is expected to unwrap another Android smartphone fueled by the expected Snapdragon 821, whose name now has been changed to Snapdragon 823 processor. This also holds much importance since the company is expected to unveil the product at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held in Shanghai from June 29.

For now there is no official confirmation on the specs and other details of the upcoming smartphone, however, after getting a little display of teasers it is expected to come packed with Snapdragon 821 or 823 processor and if the teasers information gets true then this would be the first smartphone from the company's end to come equipped with the new chipset.

One must recall the partnership between the two companies Qualcomm and LeEco since the former at recently held CES 2016 revealed Le Max Pro - the first ever product to come powered with Snapdragon 820 processor and as per what the rumors suggest, the company is likely to unveil Le Max 2 Pro at the event.

Gizmo China also reports that the smartphone would likely come with 8GB of RAM as well as a 25-megapixel rear camera. As far as the price is concerned the product is likely to be priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 30,000).

The Chinese organization is also planning to enter the U.S market this summer and to accomplish the same LeEco is hiring the employees which also gives a boost to the fact that the company would begin operating on the same real soon. However, the company is yet to decide the roadmap for its events as to how will it conduct the same to grab the market in a better way.

The company quite recently also dispatched the Le Max 2 and Le 2 smartphones in India. Out of the two, the Le Max 2 is available in two variants with distinctive prices. It's basic variant (for the 4GB RAM/32GB storage capacity) stands for INR 22,999, and the next variant (6GB RAM/64GB storage capacity) holds a price of INR 29,999. It's sibling Le 2 smartphone, on the contrary, has been priced at INR 11,999.
