Acer has introduced its two brand new smartphones in the flagship of its Liquid series in India. The smartphones are dubbed as Liquid Z530 and Liquid Z630s. These smartphones are ready for sale exclusively on Flipkart with a price tag of Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 10,999 respectively from November 12.
The company has unveiled a dual SIM variant smartphone with the 4G connectivity in India. The smartphone is touted as the “perfect selfie smartphone” at the time of the launch. The smartphone is packed with a dual 8 megapixel camera and the front camera comes with a wide angle lens.
At the specification side, the Acer Liquid Z530 is featuring a 5-inch IPS OGS display with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating system and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor with 2GB of RAM. The device houses a 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion.
For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It measures 144×70.3×8.9mm and is backed by a 2420mAh battery.
At the launching event of the smartphones in the India, S.T. Liew, President, Smart Products Business Group, Acer, said that, "Keeping at par with the Indian government's Make-in-India initiative, we are excited to announce that these smartphones will be manufactured locally in India. The plant will be operational by December 2015 and will have a production capacity of over 1 lakh phones per month. As the demand for the smartphones increase, the investment and production capacity of the plant will also be scaled up appropriately."
Now, moving towards another smartphone in the Liquid series, Liquid Z630s, it is said to feature a 5.5-inch HD IPS OGS display comes with company’s Zero Air Gap screen. The smartphone is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with the Liquid UI on top. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone houses a 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via microSD card slot expansion and measuring a 156.3x77.5x8.9mm. For the connectivity, the smartphone provides a 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity features. It is backed by a huge battery of 4000mAH.
