The TCL-owned global telecommunications equipment company, Alcatel OneTouch has introduced Flash phablet for the Thailand marketplace. This newly launched Android KitKat 4.4-equipped device is also known by its model number 6042D, which will join company's One Touch series. As per the reports, it has been personified as an opponent of exceedingly popular Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo.

Shelling out some specs of the handset, which comprises Octa-Core MediaTek MTK6592M Soc processor that is clocked at 1.4GHz operating frequency. Here, the highlighted attribute of device is its 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with 5-megapixel selfie cam. Notably, its 5MP of front snapper brings it to the array of “selfie-focused smartphone”, which are now most favorable among the selfie crazy generation.

Although, Alcatel has put up Flash against Galaxy Note 3 Neo instead of the flagship Galaxy Note 3. The firm is also bragging about its new successor that it is outfitted with superior specifications alongside HotKnot feature, which lets user to transfer the files wirelessly from one handset to another by simply touching screen to next one. HotKnot is basically the best alternative of NFC for MediaTek powered mobile phones.

Although, this Galaxy Note killer has not received any pricing details yet, but is anticipated to be disclosed along with availability details on the 8th of September.
