Alcatel Pixi 4 (6) with 4G VoLTE launched in India at a Price of Rs.9,100

Alcatel has launched Pixi 4 (6) smartphone in India and is available at a price of Rs. 9,100. First launched back at CES 2016, a slightly upgraded version of the smartphone has been launched in India. The latest smartphone has been featured with a 4G VoLTE support, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Arkamys-optimised speakers.

While addressing at the launch event, Praveen Valecha, Regional Director, Alcatel India said, that “Alcatel is committed to bring best technology and user experience at affordable prices to India. Looking at affordability of data packages and availability of video content on demand, we expect growth in 6-inch 4G VoLTE segment. The new PIXI 4 (6) will continue the legacy of improvised Polaroid software, better movie experience and faster browsing . To serve the market better we have recently joined hands with Advanced Computers as our offline distribution partners. The partnership will ensure us to reach more customer base in the market. We will strive to provide better user experience for our customers."

Currently, Alcatel has associated with Advanced Computers and it is an offline distribution partner.

From the specifications front, Alcatel Pixi 4 (6),smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports 6-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS. It packs by a 1.5GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage which further can be expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC. In terms of optics, it is blessed with a 8-megapixel rear camera 5-megapixel front camera for selfie lovers.

From the connectivity front, the smartphone include Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack. It sports 2580mAh non-removable battery. From the sensors board, it includes ambient light sensor, accelerometer, a proximity sensor. It weighs 186 grams and measures 165x83.8x8.35mm.
