After seeing a failure of its first Fire phone, Amazon has decided to chance its arm with a plan of manufacturing the follow-up. It is reported that work on the next Fire Phone has already begun from months. Leaving the failures far behind, the Company has decided to move forward.
We hope that alleged Fire Phone 2 may bring the features which became the point for the failure in past. But the manufacturing will take time and for that reason, it is unable to see this device until 2016.
For unawares, it was reported earlier that less than 35000 units of the Fire Phones were sold out. CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos said, "it's going to take many iterations." And, now they want to make the right move by making the next one. The news regarding its release was seen on Venturebeat and according to it, people will have to wait long to experience the next iteration of Fire Phone.
It is expected that the new brings some improved hardware and software along with some bug fixes in the same. On the other side, it could be possible a completely new hardware will replace the old one. The first Fire Phone had given a disastrous experience with $170 million unsold units. Its exorbitant price was reported as one of the reasons for its failure. So, it is expected that the next generation would keep the price down and will appear as a cheaper device than the predecessor.
