Asus Introduced ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) With 13-megapixel Camera at Rs 8,499

Asus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm, on Wednesday, announced the launch of its brand new ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) in India. The smartphone will be available exclusively via Amazon India in Charcoal Black and Sheer Gold colour variants with a price tag of Rs 8,499. As of now, the company has not revealed the exact release date of the handset.

Concerning the specifications, the Android smartphone packs a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS LCD display, which comes with a Bluelight Filter and can provide up to 500 nits of brightness according to the company. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC (clock speed unspecified) paired with 2GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's ZenUI 3.0 skin and packs 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM smartphone is blessed with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED real tone flash and a f/2.0 aperture. A 5-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company with a f/2.0 aperture for selfie enthusiasts. Moreover, the company has also introduced its PixelMaster 3.0 app in the new smartphone model, with different modes such as Backlight (HDR) Mode, Low Light Mode, Manual Mode (for DSLR-like camera detail settings), Real Time Beautification Mode, Super Resolution Mode (for up to 4X resolution photos), Night Mode, Photo Effect Mode, Selfie Panorama, and Selfie Mode.

The GSM handset is backed up by a 3000mAh battery and includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio as connectivity options. Sensor part on the board includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. Furthermore, Asus is also touting the availability of a dual internal mic along with noise cancellation for improved call quality.
