Asus Mistakingly Listed Zenfone 4 Max On Official Website: Major Features Revealed

Asus, a Taiwanese multinational computer hardware, and smartphone manufacturer company, had reportedly listed the upcoming flagship mobile Zenfone 4 Max on the official website of the company for a brief period of time. This upcoming Asus smartphone was listed with the model number ZC554KL but was soon removed from there as the device is yet to be officially launched. This mistake by the company ahs escalated all sorts of expectations and is being claimed that the Asus Zenfone 4 Max mobile will soon be launched in the near future. Along with this, a similar device with the code name of 'ASUS X00ID' was also spotted on GFXBench.

It must be noted that the listing was first spotted by the GSMDome and was later confirmed by the other media channels. The spotted device is being claimed to be the successor to the Asus ZenFone 3S Max. The mistakingly listing of this upcoming Asus smartphone has also revealed some major specifications of the device. As per the listing, the Asus mobile will come with support for 4G connectivity and will have a 5.5-inch display. The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that could be either the Snapdragon 625 processor or the Snapdragon 660 processor.

Earlier, similar to the Asus ZenFone 4 Max was spotted on GFXBench with the code name of Asus X00ID. The benchmark listing then suggested the device will operate on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will feature a 5.5-inch (720x1280 pixels) display. The GFXBench also tipped that device will be powered by a Qualcomm octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 3GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. Further, the device is expected to offer 32GB of expandable inbuilt storage.

As per some other reports, the upcoming Asus Zenfone 4 Max might have a dual camera setup on the rear i.e one 12-megapixel sensor and another 5-megapixel sensor along with an 8-megapixel sensor at the front for selfies and video chats. Asus is expected to launch the handset in the later stage of this month from the grand platform of Computex Taipei event, which is scheduled to commence from May 30.
