Asus Unveiled Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 With 3GB RAM at Rs.13,999

Asus India on Monday has announced that it is going to launch a Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5, which is a variant of the Zenfone 2 Laser that went on sale in India last month for Rs.9,999.  The smartphone is exclusively available on Flipkart at a price tag of Rs.13,999.

The major difference between the Zenfone 2 Laser and the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 is that the new variant is furnished with better processor and loaded with more RAM. Zenfone 2 Laser is powered by a Snapdragon 410 quad-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM while the new Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 3GB of RAM.

The newly variant flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280*720 pixels and is layered for the protection by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. At the software side, the smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and wrapped under the ZenUI. The device is offering an internal storage of 16GB storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot expansion. Furthermore the company has providing the 5GB of Asus web storage as well as 100GB of Google drive space.

The Asus Laser 5.5 at the camera end comprises with 13 megapixel with f/2.0 PixelMaster camera with dual LED flash and Laser auto-focus. Asus claims that Laser auto-focus allows one focus on the subject in less than half a second. While the device includes 5 megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera on the board.

The smartphone will be made available in 3 color variants including Black, Red and White colors. It is measuring a 152.5×77.2×10.8mm, and weighs 170 grams.

For the connectivity option the smartphone includes dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0.  The device is backed by 3000mAh battery.
