Asus Zenfone 2 packs with a Special edition of Massive 256GB of Internal Storage

Asus is launching a special addition of Zenfone 2 sports a fancy new back panel and a huge 256GB of internal storage. The handset’s official name is ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition, and it’s set to make its debut next month in Brazil. But there is nothing mention about it to reaching in other countries.

Despite of its affordable price tag, the ZenFone 2 was one of the first Android-powered devices to offer 4GB of RAM.

The pricing hasn't been disclosed, but it shouldn't be too much. Two new color options are available, textured black with red and illusion white with red accents. Specs-wise, it has a 5.5-inch display, a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear PixelMaster camera with Real Tone flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3,000 mAh battery. These things make for a very compelling device.

That’s twice as much storage as the 128GB found in the most expensive devices from Apple and Samsung, and even more than most entry-level notebooks. But there is one downside: the Deluxe Special Edition is destined for Brazil, and Asus hasn’t yet announced availability for other markets.

The original ZenFone 2 has arrived in the U.S., however, and it has been greeted by positive reviews. We wouldn’t be surprised to see the special edition model following it, then, but it seems Asus could make us wait a little while for it.
