Xiaomi has finally launched the Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone in the country after many rumors. The company launched the smartphone first in the markets of China in March this year. Xiaomi has loaded the gaming smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SOC mated with 12GB of RAM, touch response rate @ 240Hz. The Black Shark 2 will be available in India from 4th June. The company has set a price tag of the Black Shark 2 for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory variant at INR 39,999. On the other hand, the top-spec smartphone with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage variant costs INR 49,999.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 will be available in two color options i.e. Frozen Silver and Shadow Black. The Gaming smartphone can be grabbed from 4th June via the e-commerce website- Flipkart.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Gaming smartphone flaunts a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, and 403ppi of pixel density. The company has also added a TrueView Display support.

The Gaming smartphone gets the power from the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. In terms of the software, the Black Shark 2 runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 comes in two variants i.e. 6GB of RAM + 128GB of internal memory and 12GB of RAM + 256GB of onboard storage along with the UFS 2.1 storage options.
In the photography department, the company has loaded the back of the smartphone with dual camera setup which includes a primary 48-megapixel sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and the secondary camera comes with a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The back camera setup has the capability of optical zooming till 2x.
While on the front, the Black Shark 2 flaunts a 20-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The company launched the Black Shark 2 as the successor of the Black Shark which was launched in 2018. Aforementioned, the gaming smartphone comes with a Liquid Cool 3.0 technology which increases the heat dissipation by 20 times. For giving the best and smooth experience in gaming the company has loaded it with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming. The gaming smartphone also comes with a pressure-sensing Magic Press technology.
The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone comes with an under-display fingerprint reader. In terms of the connectivity options, the gaming phone includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C port.
The successor of Black Shark gets fueled up by the 4,000 mAh battery and comes with the dimensions of 163.61 x 75.01 x 8.77mm. In terms of the sensors, the smartphone includes ambient light, accelerometer, and a gyroscope.
